For more than forty years, Inkster Park Millwork Ltd. has set the example for innovation, and the manufacturing excellence of quality products for the Window and Door Industry.

            We developed the ^® vinyl wrapped profile system in 1993 using State of the Art Profile Wrapping Technology. We use 100% exterior grade, crosslinking waterproof adhesives, and exterior grade UV safe vinyl (PVC) to wrap our profiles. Our reputation dictates we use only the highest quality manufacturing process, resulting in zero failures. We have selected a pure white vinyl, in order to closely match the colour of the PVC windows.

Performance Tested

Temperature changes can severely affect the performance of a product.  ^® profiles are designed to work in any climate.  The superior design and manufacture of the ^® system does not allow any movement of the tough vinyl surface relative to the wood profile underneath.  Inkster Park Millwork Ltd is so confident in this performance feature that ^® samples are routinely tested in boiling water (212⁰ F; 100⁰ C).  Even after 6 hours boiling time, there is no movement of the vinyl wrap relative to the wood profile.  Clearly this is a torture test that goes well beyond anything that Mother Nature can throw at it.  At the other end of the temperature spectrum, ^® profiles have been performing brilliantly in climates that experience temperatures below -49⁰ F (-44⁰ C).  In fact, they perform so well that they come with a 10 year limited warranty.

Environmentally Friendly

In an effort to protect our environment, we have made all the same sizes of our wood core window jamb extensions available with an environmentally friendly composite core.  We also manufacture 3/4 x 6 3/4 composite jamb extensions wrapped with real Oak or Maple veneers upon special order, that can be stained to your customer’s liking.
